Two camera crews for the European Parliament: Roberta Metsola in the Netherlands
On 2 October 2026 the President of the European Parliament spent a day in the Netherlands. CamJo24 covered it with two crews. One filmed her at ASML's headquarters in Veldhoven. The other streamed the opening of the Europa Experience in The Hague live to the Parliament's media department, then filmed her meeting with Prime Minister Rob Jetten.
One visit, two cities. Two crews.
On Friday 2 October 2026, European Parliament President Roberta Metsola visited the Netherlands. Her first stop was ASML in Veldhoven, the Dutch maker of the lithography machines used to produce computer chips. European competitiveness was on the agenda. In The Hague she opened the Europa Experience at 16:00, the new EU visitor centre on the Grote Marktstraat. At 17:00 she met Prime Minister Rob Jetten.
CamJo24 covered every stop, and the opening went out live. Veldhoven and The Hague are about 140 km apart by road, too far for one crew to cover it all. So CamJo24 sent two teams. A camera operator and a producer went to ASML. A camera operator and a sound engineer took The Hague, with a LiveU LU600 to stream the opening straight to the Parliament's media department.

A fixed programme. Two places at once.
The visit of a parliament president runs to a schedule set by protocol and security. Camera positions are agreed in advance, and the programme does not wait for the press. With the two stops in different parts of the country, each team had to work on its own from start to finish.
In Veldhoven the producer ran the shoot on site, so the camera operator could stay with the president. In The Hague the job was tighter. The opening went out live, so there was one take and no edit to fix it later. The sound engineer ran a boom mic into a recorder, and the camera fed the LU600 over bonded mobile networks. An hour later the same team filmed the meeting with the prime minister.
