Camera operators for Rugby Europe: the 2026 Super Cup
CamJo24 supplies camera operators to Rugby Europe for the 2026 Rugby Europe Super Cup. The first job was Delta against the Romanian Wolves at the National Rugby Centre in Amsterdam on 17 October. Four operators, each with a full camera kit, worked the match for a remote (REMI) production run by our production partner.
A European competition. Cameras at the ground.
The Rugby Europe Super Cup is Rugby Europe's cross-border competition for teams outside the big professional leagues. The 2026 edition, its sixth, runs from 10 October to 13 December. Five teams play each other once: Bohemia Rugby Warriors from the Czech Republic, Brussels Devils from Belgium, Delta from the Netherlands, Lusitanos from Portugal and the Romanian Wolves from Romania.
The matches are produced remotely. The cameras stand at the ground and the production gallery sits somewhere else. That model needs operators on site who arrive fully equipped, set up without a truck behind them, and frame the game for a director who isn't in the stadium. CamJo24 supplies those operators.
Planning a match or an event with cameras on site and the gallery elsewhere? Our camera operators work on remote productions and multi-camera shoots across the Netherlands, Belgium and West Germany.

Our role
Four fully equipped camera operators for our REMI production partner, who completed the production
The cameras in Amsterdam. The gallery elsewhere.
In a REMI production (remote integration model) only the cameras and their operators travel to the ground. The feeds go over the network to a production gallery, where a team cuts the match, adds the graphics and delivers the programme. No outside broadcast truck has to drive to every venue, which matters in a competition spread over five countries.
It also puts more weight on the people at the ground. There is no truck crew on site to solve a problem, so each operator arrives with a complete kit: camera, tripod, field monitor and headset. Our four operators built their positions, lined up with the gallery and covered the match. Our REMI production partner did the rest.
Four camera positions
Four CamJo24 operators, each with their own broadcast camera, tripod and field monitor, on positions at the National Rugby Centre.
Feeds to the gallery
The camera feeds travel to the gallery of our REMI production partner. The operators work on headsets with the production team.
The programme
Our production partner cuts the cameras, adds the graphics and completes the production for Rugby Europe.
Crew and kit
Four operators, each self-sufficient. Every position had a Sony broadcast camera on a fluid-head tripod, a large field monitor on the camera and a headset, so the operator could keep a fast game in frame and stay in contact with the production.
Four positions. One remote production.
Rugby Europe had four camera positions in Amsterdam covered by one supplier, and our partner finished the production remotely. Amsterdam was the first match. CamJo24 continues on the 2026 Super Cup for Rugby Europe.
