How CamJo24 handles personal data when you contact us, book a crew or visit camjo24.com. In plain language, without the legal filler.
The short version
- We only collect what you send us when you ask for a quote or book a crew, plus basic website statistics if you allow them.
- We use it to answer you, run your booking and send the invoice. Nothing else.
- We never sell your data and we do not use advertising cookies.
- You can ask us to see, correct or delete your data at any time: booking@camjo24.com.

What we collect and why
The website has no contact forms and no accounts. Personal data reaches us in four ways.
When you contact us
- What
- Your name, company, email address or phone number, and the shoot details you send us by email, WhatsApp or phone.
- Why
- To answer your question, check availability and send you a quote.
- Legal basis
- Taking steps at your request before a contract (GDPR article 6(1)(b)), or our legitimate interest in replying to business enquiries (article 6(1)(f)).
- Kept for
- 12 months after our last contact if it does not lead to a booking.
When you book us
- What
- Contact details of the people we work with on the job, your company and billing details, and the booking and invoice records.
- Why
- To plan and deliver the shoot, send the invoice and keep our accounts.
- Legal basis
- Performing our contract with you (article 6(1)(b)) and our legal duty to keep financial records (article 6(1)(c)).
- Kept for
- 7 years, because Dutch tax law requires it for invoices and accounts.
When you visit the website
- What
- Your cookie choice, and technical data such as your IP address, browser and the pages you request, which our web server logs automatically.
- Why
- To show the site, remember your cookie choice and keep the site secure.
- Legal basis
- Our legitimate interest in a working, secure website (article 6(1)(f)) and our legal duty to record cookie consent (article 6(1)(c)).
- Kept for
- Your cookie choice for 1 year. Server logs for a short period, only for security and troubleshooting.
If you allow analytics
- What
- Which pages you visit, how you arrived and the type of device you use, measured by Google Analytics with a random ID stored in a cookie.
- Why
- To see which pages are useful to crew bookers and improve the ones that are not.
- Legal basis
- Your consent (article 6(1)(a)). Without it, no analytics cookies are set.
- Kept for
- Up to 14 months in Google Analytics.
We do not use your data for automated decisions or profiling, and we do not send newsletters.
People in our footage
Most of our work is filming for broadcasters and companies. In that work the client decides what is filmed and what is published, so the client is responsible for the personal data in the footage and we handle it on their instructions. News reporting also falls under the journalistic exemption in the Dutch GDPR Implementation Act (UAVG, article 43).
If you appear in footage we filmed and have a question about it, contact the broadcaster or company that published it. If you do not know who that is, email us and we will tell you who to contact.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask us to:
- show you the personal data we hold about you, and give you a copy;
- correct data that is wrong or incomplete;
- delete your data, unless the law requires us to keep it (such as invoices);
- limit how we use your data, or stop using it where we rely on legitimate interest;
- send your data to you or another company in a common format.
Where we use your data based on consent, you can withdraw that consent at any time. This does not affect what we did before you withdrew it.
Email booking@camjo24.com with your request. We answer within one month and may ask you to confirm your identity first. If you are not happy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
Security and changes
The website runs over an encrypted HTTPS connection, and only CamJo24 has access to our email, files and booking records. No system is perfectly secure, but we keep what we hold to a minimum and delete it when the periods above end.
If we change how we use personal data, we update this page and the date at the top. Changes apply from the date they are published.
