What is an ENG crew?

An ENG crew is a film crew that mainly works in the field of video production for television, corporate films, multimedia, and a lot of other things. ENG stands for Electronic News Gathering. That trade of the ENG crew is as old as cinematography itself. The first known ENG crew was the American company A.L.P. (Associated Laboratories Pictures), given the responsibility of filming Edward VII of England’s coronation in 1902.
